Planning permission was granted previously, Application No. PA18/05656 dated 4th September 2018 which was an outline consent for the erection of a dwelling.  However this planning permission has now lapsed and due to current concerns by Natural England on the environmental impact of the river (covering the general River Camel area currently) a recent application was withdrawn.  It is anticipated that at some point in the future this issue with Natural England and the phosphates will be addressed as it is causing great difficulties with building permissions in certain areas of North Cornwall, however, we can not provide an estimate on time scale.


On the former planning, there is an existing stone building on the site measuring approximately 7.2m x 4.8m which under the old consent would require demolition prior to any development commencing.
