'I purchased the flat 6 years and have greatly enjoyed living in the property, and the local area which has easy access to great outdoor spaces such as Wanstead Flats, Hollow Ponds and Epping Forest.
The property has high ceilings, given it a light airy feel, especially in the mornings. A large bespoke wardrobe has been fitted in the bedroom to take advantage of the extra height and provided plenty of storage. The bathroom was replaced last year by a reputable builder and finished to a high standard. Additionally, the windows of the property have all been replaced.
Bulwer Road is a very wide, quiet and leafy, and I like how the property is set far back from the roadside. There are many good pubs nearby, especially the Heathcote & star and the filly Brook, which ware both 5 mins walk. There is generally a nice vibe around the area and the neighbours are friendly and helpful.
The transport links are excellent with Leytonstone tube station very close (approx. 8 mins walk) as well as Leyton midland for the overland.
I have invested in the flat and made some significant improvements. After the pandemic caused delays to further renovations (such as the kitchen) together with my job changing I am now looking to raise funds to buy a slightly bigger property.'
