Positioned on a quiet residential turning in Alderbrook, we have this two bedroom, first floor flat with a balcony, coming available in the early part of July. This flat offers two double bedrooms, a recently renovated bathroom and considerable storage space for convenience. Furniture negotiable.
Access to the locality is off of Aldersbrook Road on Brading Crescent. Opposite Brading Crescent are the Wanstead Flats playing fields. Acres of greenery to explore and an opportunity to have a peaceful stroll along the fields and set up a picnic with family and friends. If we are talking about transport links, its approximately a 25 minute walk to either Leytonstone Underground, Wanstead Underground or Wanstead Overground. Buses are very much convenient with a W19 taking you to either Leytonstone Underground or Manor Park, as well as the 101, for the newly reformed Elizabeth Line. Those travelling towards the center, Manor Park Station will be your best bet to get in and out with ease. The 308 and 101, allows you to travel to Wanstead Station so effectively, its about 10 minutes, maybe less, to get to all stations. There is unlimited free parking for those with a vehicle and it is an easy transit, within 5 minutes, to the North Circular, A12 and M11
Jackson Court is a purpose built block and is in the same catchment a Aldersbrook Primary School, which is outstanding and sought after my many local parents. Entry is via a secure system and a communications system for an visitors or deliveries. 24 hour CCTV is in operation on this block for safety and security. There is lift access to get to the first floor and as you exit, the door is to the far left. Once inside, a long hallway, laid with laminate flooring stretches out to the full length of the property. As you step through the door there is a little cupboard space and shelving for your coats, shoes and on the go items while on the left, there is a storage cupboard. On the right is the three piece bathroom, but just after that, there is another storage cupboard. The bathroom however, renovated reasonably recently to a modern standard and contemporary colour palette. Its a three piece bathroom with a wash basin with storage below, a toilet, a bathtub fitted with a shower screen and has a shower too. Tiled throughout with a glossy white, there is also a frosted window for privacy and assists well with ventilation.
Opposite the bathroom is the first bedroom, the master room. Again, laid with laminate flooring so its not too maintenance heavy. The white walls and well sized windows floods in natural light, keeping it nice and bright. This room includes a double bed, chest of drawers and a wardrobe. Adjacent to the master room, is the second bedroom, which is also a double. In terms of size, its very much similar and does offer a couple items of furniture such as a sofa bed. Furniture is very much negotiable here so let us know what works for you.
Across from the second bedroom is the kitchen. Its of generous size and worktop area but also has enough space for a little dining area. The white goods are offered with the property such as the washing machine, electric hob and oven, extractor fan and a built in fridge and freezer units. Cupboard space is very much ample here. Right at the end of the hallway is a large reception room, 4.9m by 3.8m. The floors are laid with laminate, keeping its consistency throughout. This room is well sized and allows you to have enough space for a living area and also a something a little but more formal for a dining area. Painted white throughout, this room attracts immense light from its south facing balcony. Items of furniture include a sofa, table, chest of drawers and a couple shelves, creatively fitted by the landlord. The balcony overlooks the front of the building and it really gives you a sense of how peaceful and residential the environment is. This property benefits from gas central heating and double glazed windows and included within the storage is a private shed, with a lock and has enough space for a couple of bikes and other general storage.
In terms of amenities, you are pretty much in the middle between Wanstead, Leytonstone and Manor Park which offer many different amenities and kinds of environments. A quick bus ride to Wanstead or Leytonstone will give you a plethora of pubs and coffee shops to choose. If you are looking for a place to do some bulk shopping, the 24-hour Tesco Superstore on the corner of Greenman Roundabout will be your best bet. This property will be available to move in within 3 weeks. Get in contact with our Lettings Team to arrange a viewing for this flat.
Landlord's Comments:
"We have enjoyed living in the block, especially as it feels very safe. The space and storage is better than any modern flat, perfect for our growing family's needs. It has the perfect balance for access to central London and the enjoyment of nature in the surrounding green areas. There are many walks to choose from, either in the flats or in the forest. It is a very quiet area, away from main roads, so we have liked the peace it provides. We will miss what this flat has to offer and hope you will enjoy it as much as us."
